Eric Brooke Band, played shows at the Canton Football Hall Of Fame Ribs Burnoff with Foghat, Night Ranger and Quiet Riot in front of thousands of people. The band went into Greek Isle Recording Studio and recorded their 2nd album under "The Eric Brooke Band." Eric recorded an album called "Back2Basics" under that name with Producer Joe Vitale years earlier. Joe was the drummer for Joe Walsh, The Eagles (Live), Crosby, Stills and Nash and co-writer of the rock classic, "Rocky Mountain Way.". When the 2nd album titled, "Social!" came out, followers took [many of the songs to heart including; Good To Be Alive, O.K., Your Own Groove and Surrounded. The success of the album helped increase the band's following and these were some of the "self professed" best years of Eric's career. One of the highlights of Eric's career was when he received the opportunity to perform his original composition, "O.K." with lan Anderson and his band at the Canton Palace | Theatre. lan Anderson is the legendary flute player / vocalist of Jethro Tull.
When the ERIC BROOKE'S TRIBUTE (to Michael Stanley) caught the attention of IN THE HEARTLAND, they respectively recruited him as lead singer upon (founder/leader) Kelly Derrick's death.
